Ways to Make a Difference
Outreach & Love Your Park
Help us bring Voyageurs to communities throughout Minnesota. Outreach volunteers represent Voyageurs Conservancy at festivals, community gatherings, the Minnesota State Fair, Love Your Park events, and other public programs.
These opportunities are ideal for people who enjoy meeting others and sharing their enthusiasm for Voyageurs. Training and talking points will be provided.
Voyageurs Classroom & Education
Support environmental education experiences connecting students and families with the ecology, culture, and night skies of Voyageurs National Park.
Volunteers may assist with classroom activities, educational events, family programs, and other learning experiences. Volunteers working directly with minors who are not accompanied by a guardian may be required to complete a background check.
Special Events
Help bring Conservancy events to life! Volunteers may assist with event setup and cleanup, registration, welcoming guests, activities, games, and other event needs.
Opportunities may include member gatherings, Pints for the Park, community events, fundraising events, and other special programs.
Field Support & Stewardship
Get outside and lend a hand with citizen science, stewardship projects, trail work, and other appropriate field-based activities.
Some opportunities within Voyageurs National Park may require participation through the National Park Service's Volunteers-In-Parks program rather than Voyageurs Conservancy.
Volunteer Directly With Voyageurs National Park
Voyageurs Conservancy's volunteer program is separate from the National Park Service's Volunteers-In-Parks (VIP) program.
