New this year, Voyageurs Conservancy will be at the Minnesota State Fair from August 21 - 23 to celebrate Voyageurs National Park’s golden anniversary. Visit our exhibit to talk with park experts, get trip-planning advice, and learn more about the unique wilderness, waterways, and wildlife of Minnesota’s only national park. While you’re here enter to win Voyageurs-themed prizes and take part in celebrating the park’s 50th anniversary!

What You’ll Find at the new
Voyageurs State Fair Exhibit

Daily Prizes & Giveaways: Families will receive a Junior Ranger book and can earn special pins and patches!* We're also running a fun trivia game daily, with floating loon keychains going to the first 500 individuals/families who participate each day.*

Family Fun for Everyone: Kids can explore our Mobile Classroom, enjoy Junior Ranger station activity books, get sworn in as an official Junior Ranger, and earn a badge!* We'll also have an interactive "whose scat is that" wildlife game that's a blast for visitors of all ages.

Trip Planning Made Easy: Our park experts are here to help you plan the perfect Voyageurs adventure! Grab maps and guides, plus get insider tips and firsthand park knowledge from our experienced volunteers.

Voyageurs 50th Sweepstakes: Enter to win Voyageurs-inspired prizes, including a Wenonah Canoe, a two-night stay in Voyageur Outpost's geodesic dome, floating chairs from Paddle North, and a custom Voyageurs map blanket from Faribault Mills.

Discover Minnesota’s International Dark Sky Park: Learn what makes Voyageurs National Park one of the best stargazing locations in the nation, safely observing the Sun through our solar telescope, and dive into the science behind the northern lights.

Find us at the Fair!

The new Voyageurs exhibit is located at the corner of Wright Ave and Cooper St, just north of the Kidway and West of the 4-H Building.

Entry Gate # 5 is closest to our Voyageurs State Fair exhibit off of Snelling Ave and Midway Parkway When you get inside, turn right on Cosgrove St and walk towards the 4-H building until you hit Wright Ave on your left.

Can’t join us at the fair?

No problem! The 50th anniversary celebration extends far beyond the fairgrounds. You can still enter our 50th Anniversary Sweepstakes online.
