Sign up for our Volunteer Rendezvous today!

Support your park and join us at the 2012 Volunteer Rendezvous on September 7-8!

Each year, Voyageurs National Park Association helps achieve priority conservation and maintenance needs at the park through the Volunteer Rendezvous, a two-day civic conservation event. And YOU are invited to join us.

People of all ages and skills are welcome to attend - no experience necessary.  National Park Service staff will provide tools, training and help with the work.  The Rendezvous provides a great opportunity to get involved at Minnesota's national park, meet Park Service staff and see the park in a whole new way.

The Volunteer Rendezvous isn't all work and no play!  Volunteers explore Voyageurs in their free time.  Canoes and activities will be made available.  VNPA organizes a free celebration dinner with all the volunteers and partners on Saturday evening.

This year we will be working on two projects: 1) Planting native trees and foliage along the park's new bike trail to restore the land that was disturbed during its construction 2) Maintenance work at the Ojibwe ethnobotanical garden

Volunteer are responsible for organizing their own lodging and meals (except for the free celebration dinner).
