2023 Voyageurs Conservancy Member Breakfast

  • The Trailhead 1221 Theodore Wirth Parkway Minneapolis, MN, 55411 United States (map)

Join us on Friday, October 27 for our fall gathering featuring a relaxed gathering featuring a light continental breakfast, coffee, and conversation with friends of Voyageurs National Park.

Wildlife biologist Dr. Steve Windels will join us to share what’s so special about Minnesota’s moose and takeaways from a 15-year moose monitoring program at Voyageurs National Park. Windels was recently honored with the 2023 Distinguished Moose Biologist Award at the 55th North American Moose Conference and has worked as a Wildlife Biologist at Voyageurs National Park since 2003, where he has studied many components of the southern boreal forest ecosystem including beavers, muskrats, gray wolves, and bald eagles in addition to the iconic moose.

Additionally, you'll hear from Voyageurs Conservancy executive director Christina Hausman Rhode about the impact our supporters make possible in the park. Bring a friend and join us for a beautiful fall morning celebrating Voyageurs. Members who are not with us in the Twin Cities are encouraged to tune in via Zoom at 8:30 am to view the program updates.

RSVP or call 612-333-5424.

Virtual Attendance: Not able to join us in person? Please RSVP and a Zoom link for the Member Breakfast will be sent to your email. The virtual program will begin at 8:30 a.m.
