Voyageurs Conservancy Member Breakfast

Join us on Thursday, October 27 for our Fall Member Breakfast - a relaxed gathering featuring a light continental breakfast, coffee, and conversation with friends of the park.

Enjoy a brief program, Interconnected: Nature's Networks in Brains and Community, with our Education Field Fellow Moss Schumacher and learn about the amazing brain benefits of time in nature. Additionally, you'll hear from Voyageurs Conservancy executive director Christina Hausman Rhode about the impact our supporters make possible in the park. Bring a friend and join us for a beautiful fall morning celebrating Voyageurs National Park. Members who are not with us in the Twin Cities are encouraged to tune in via Zoom at 8:30 am to view the program updates.

About Education Field Fellow, Moss Schumacher: Moss is a Masters student at the University of MN - Duluth (UMD) and a Field Fellow with the Voyageurs Conservancy. She is currently developing curricula for the Voyageurs Classroom. Moss believes that nature connection is crucial for the well-being of people of all ages. She is currently working on a Masters' thesis project that explores the effects of nature exposure on neurodevelopment. Moss holds a BS in Psychology from UMD and Certificate of Environmental Education and Sustainability from Wolf Ridge/Antioch University.
