The Conservancy is excited to join the WOW community for a special day learning and exploring alongside a female Field Fellow working in Voyageurs National Park.
Did you know that dragonfly nymphs can be used to help us understand the health of lakes? Join Field Fellow, Genevieve Schave for this Women of the Water event! In this program, we will use a dipnet to obtain dragonfly nymphs and learn about the fascinating lives of dragonflies as well as learn about how Voyageurs National Park is maintaining efforts to monitor and reduce harmful mercury that has entered the water.

Women of the Water is a community-wide motor boating club focused on encouraging and supporting one another in a wide range of boating activities with the goal of building confidence and self-sufficiency on the water. All of their trips include socializing with other women, learning boating and navigation skills, and loads of fun!
