Joseph Bump, Associate Professor, Gordon W. Gullion Endowed Chair in Forest Wildlife Research & Education at the University of Minnesota Moose are uniquely adapted to use aquatic habitats and do so for multiple reasons. How are moose uniquely adapted to feed underwater? Why do moose use lakes, ponds, and wetlands? Are the water bodies affected? How do moose link water and land? From this talk you'll hear the latest what, why, and how when it comes to moose and aquatic foraging.
