Enjoy the Fall Migration on a Guided Birded Hike!
Where: Oberholtzer Trail, International Falls, MN
When: Friday, September 2; 8:00- 9:30 am
What: Enjoy a morning of birding on the Oberholtzer Trail with wildlife park scientist, Sheridan Noll. Sheridan is conducting a forest breeding bird surveys and loon surveys this summer and is excited to see what birds will be visiting the park this fall! Learn about the fall migration, where to look for birds, and what birds you might see making their way south for the winter. This event is perfect for both new and experienced birders!
Prepare: Bring water, bug spray, and shoes to walk in! Distance will depend on trail conditions and bird activity.
This ‘Love Your Park’ event can accommodate up to 20 individuals. Walk-ins will be accepted as space allows, but registration is strongly encouraged. Register here.
Love Your Park events connect the public to Voyageurs National Park through hands-on recreation and stewardship activities. Join a Conservancy team member and fellow park fans for a hike, paddle, trail clean up, trash pick up, art projects, citizen science and more! Events are scheduled throughout the summer and fall.
