Step beneath some of the darkest skies in North America during the Voyageurs Astronomy Workshop, an immersive three-day, two-night experience in Voyageurs National Park, an International Dark Sky Park. Designed for astronomy enthusiasts and aspiring stargazers, this small-group workshop combines hands-on instruction with exceptional observing opportunities beneath pristine night skies.

Led by experienced astronomy educators Jesse Gates and Bob “Astro Bob” King, participants will learn to navigate the night sky, identify constellations, planets, and deep-sky objects, and build practical skills using high-quality telescopes. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own telescopes or binoculars for personalized guidance on setup, operation, and observing techniques.

Whether you're just beginning your astronomy journey or looking to expand your observing skills, you'll leave with greater knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to continue exploring the universe long after the weekend ends. No prior astronomy experience is required.
