Voyageurs National Park Career Exploration Lesson

Discover Careers That Care for Our Parks

The Career Cards and lesson introduce students to the diverse professionals who protect, maintain, and interpret our national parks. From scientific research to cultural preservation and emergency response, national parks rely on people with varied interests, educations, skills, and backgrounds.

These interactive resources encourage curiosity, support career readiness, and promote civic engagement by connecting young learners to real-world stewardship. Designed to align with Minnesota learning standards, the materials can be used in classrooms, informal education settings, or field-based programs.

Developed in collaboration with Voyageurs Conservancy and Voyageurs National Park, this project celebrates the dedicated individuals who care for our nation’s most treasured natural and cultural resources. Voyageurs Conservancy thanks the National Park staff who took the time to personally connect and provide information for this project.
