However, these temperatures make it a great climate for cold weather activities, such as skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice skating, or winter camping. When snow blankets the vast landscape, the silent beauty of this region is breath-taking.
Volunteer Rendezvous
The Volunteer Rendezvous in Voyageurs National Park is a weekend trip for visitors to engage in environmental stewardship for the park. Volunteers plant native trees to restore wildlife habitat, maintain hiking trails, or clean up campsites. Interested?
