Kids, Discover the Wonder of Winter

Discover the Wonder of Winter at Voyageurs National Park
The temperature has risen and dropped over the past month and kids of all ages may be wondering, “What is there to do?” in this weather. Come to the Rainy Lake Visitor Center and discover the world of winter. Park Naturalist, Kim Reich, will introduce the Winter Discovery Pack and lead you on an animal tracking adventure in Voyageurs National Park. Afterwards, warm up with a cup of hot cocoa inside the visitor center. Dress for the outdoors. Sunday, February 7, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of Voyageurs National Park. No fee or registration is required to attend.
Visitors are encouraged to come early to browse through the museum, check out the winter displays in the interactive area, and go snowshoeing or skiing.
